The admissions deadline for the 2008-2009 school year has passed. Decision letters have been sent out via mail for every student who submitted an application. If you have not received your letter please contact the admissions office at (619) 243-5029.

 
Students who were not accepted are automatically entered into our waiting pool. The waiting pool is a non-sequential pool of applicants. Students are chosen from the waiting pool at random in the same way in which we run the lottery on an ongoing basis when space becomes available.

The next application season for the 2009-2010 school year will open in the fall of 2008. Please check back then for access to the online application.

THE HTH SELECTION PROCESS

High Tech High schools endeavor to accommodate all students who apply for admission, however, when applications for admission exceed the number of spaces available, HTH employs a computerized lottery to determine admission. Spaces are allocated to form a student body that reflects the demographics of the region in which the school is located.

FUTURE OPENINGS

Each year, High Tech High Chula Vista and High Tech High North County will add a grade until they have grades 9 through 12. They will begin accepting applications for 11th graders in the fall of 2008.

High Tech High North County has plans to open a middle school in the fall of 2009. Please check back for more information.
