Session 2 Summer Bridge Program
The High Tech 6th Grade Summer Bridge program is designed to introduce new 6th graders to the High Tech Village approach to education. The program will focus on preparing the new students to the curriculum, culture and pedagogy of the Village. Students will work on projects that will integrate humanities and math/science. These projects will be taught by High Tech High Faculty over a 2-week period.
In addition, participants will also be introduced to our advisory program, which focuses on youth development and life skills, and one x-block class, which focuses on enrichment and student interests. High Tech High resources such as computers, digital cameras, digital camcorders, etc. will all be available to the participants.

HTM 6th Grade Student Orientation / Schedule Pick Up
Orientation for our 6th graders. Parent(s) are welcome to attend from 9-10 and then return at 11 for their child. Students will have an opportunity to "Get to know High Tech Middle" as well as pick up their 1st semester schedule.
If you are unable to attend this orientation, please arrive early to school on the first day; Monday 8/25/08. School begins at 9:05 daily.
