Project at a Glance

I am always trying to think of ways, beyond grades, to motivate my students to create beautiful work. For this project I used the power of models, cross grade level collaboration, and a culminating exhibition to inspire my 6^th and 8^th graders to work to their full potential. I am incredibly pleased with the feedback I received from my students, parents, and community members about this project.  The project was fun, it provided the opportunity for students to learn important techniques, and the students’ work absolutely “wowed” the audience.
