After familiarizing yourself with how your family can join our community, we invite you to explore other areas of the High Tech High website to discover more about our K-12 schools. 

High Tech High schools strive to accommodate all students who apply for admission. However, because applications for admission exceed the number of spaces available, HTH uses a zip-code based computerized lottery to determine admission. Spaces are allocated to form a student body that reflects the demographics of the region in which the school is located.


IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES

Lottery Notification Deadline: Early April

All applicants will be notified via email and/or text message when lottery results have been released. When lottery results are posted in SchoolMint, applicants will have 72-hours to respond to the admissions offer. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.


HOW TO APPLY

1. Application

Complete an online application for admission HERE between October 1, 2021 and March 1, 2022 in order to be entered into the lottery for admission. High Tech High schools conduct our admissions process through School Mint. School Mint is accessible here. Once you apply, you will receive email confirmation that your application has successfully been submitted. Please be sure to save this confirmation email for your personal records. You can also log in to your account at any time to check on the status of your application. If you prefer to use a paper application, please visit one of our schools to pick one up from the HTH Admissions Office.

2. Submit Verification (If Applicable)

Siblings

Siblings of current HTH students are given a preference in the lottery. We require verification of sibling status via the application.

National School Lunch Program 

If you indicated on your student’s application that they qualify for free/reduced lunch, you will need to email an approval letter from your school district as verification of their eligibility or upload it with your application. Verification can be emailed to admissions@hightechhigh.org.
