\n\nWhat We Offer …<\/strong>\nHigh Tech High’s instructional design emphasizes hands-on, project-based learning with adult-world connections. We are committed to building a school culture where there is respect and cooperation among students, adults, and families. \n\nHow We Hire …<\/strong>\nDue to the rhythm of the school year, our primary recruitment season is December through May. You will notice we post all positions. This is to anticipate any possible hiring need within our network of 16 schools. During this time, we review applications and set up informal interviews to get to know our year’s applicant pool. Selected applicants are invited to Hiring Bonanzas. These are day-long events where prospective teachers conduct a demo lesson for a panel of High Tech High students, teachers, and administrators and engage in one-on-one and group interviews. Offer letters outlining salary and benefits will be sent throughout the season, however formal contracts are not issued until the summer.\n\nHigh Tech High endeavors to attract passionate, highly qualified educators. Instructional personnel are required to hold valid California teaching credentials, permits or certificates appropriate to the assignment. To that end, High Tech High offers individualized advisement and application assistance for out of state educators seeking to transfer credentials.
