Hi Everyone! My name is Nikki Rios (preferred pronouns: she/her/hers) and I am so excited to be a part of the HTH community again! I am a San Diego native and have always dreamed of being an educator in this community, to provide students with a safe, welcoming environment to learn, grow, and explore!

My educational background: I am a HTHCV alumni and a 1st gen college graduate! I received my Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Elementary Education from SDSU in 2017, Go Aztecs! Before continuing my education at Point Loma Nazarene University and receiving my multiple-subject teaching credential (2019) and my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree (2020).

In my spare time I enjoy exploring new food and coffee places with my fiance Moses and our 1 year pup Tinkerbell. I am a huge fan of the San Diego Padres and an avid reader.
