I taught 3rd grade for the past 2 years here at HTeNC. After teaching 3 years of 5th grade in Washington state, my husband, Taylor, and I moved to San Diego for his career in 2020.
I hold two bachelor’s degrees: one in Science education and one in French. I earned my Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Eastern Washington University in 2019.
Last year, we added a corgi puppy to our family and we are utterly obsessed with him! (Fitz)
As a teacher, I believe in fostering positive relationships where we can all grow and learn together. I have high expectations and provide a high level of support to meet students’ needs and help them excel in areas of strength. I believe that a child’s learning includes many stakeholders, and we are all a team with the same focus of reaching academic, social, emotional, and physical goals for your child during the school year.
