After graduating from HTH, I went to the University of San Diego where I got my BA in mathematics, and then to Loyola Marymount University where I got my MAT in Mathematics. I was inspired by my time in high school and undergrad, and so I returned to High Tech High to teach. I have an interest in showing the beauty and sense making of mathematics through play and physical touch. I am passionate about supporting a multi-level classroom through scaffolding for diverse learners, including those who need to be challenged. I am driven by the belief that all students are capable of success in mathematics when given access and support, and exposed to meaningful learning experiences.
