Hello! I was born in New Jersey and earned a bachelor’s degree in Humanities and Spanish and a masters in Hispanic Studies from Villanova University just outside of Philadelphia. I worked as a legal translator for a farmworkers legal aid clinic and in digital inclusion initiatives prior to moving to San Diego in 2014 for graduate school. I received a PhD in Literatures in Spanish from University of California, San Diego in 2021. I have taught college-level writing, literature, and Spanish language courses in the past. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, going on hikes, trying new baking techniques, vintage dancing, and spending time with my dog Hobbs. I am excited to join HTH Mesa this year!
