Sasha Roman is proudly from the Bronx, where she taught for two years as a special education teacher supporting elementary learners with diverse needs. In August 2025, she relocated to San Diego with her daughter to continue her teaching career and be closer to her large extended family.
She studied at the University at Albany, earning a degree in Linguistics with a minor in Education. She went on to complete a Master of Education in Students with Disabilities (K–12) at Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing a second Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at SUNY Empire State University. Her ongoing studies reflect her commitment to strengthening differentiated instruction and curriculum design to optimize student learning.
Sasha is excited to join the High Tech Middle School community as an Education Specialist, bringing her creativity, experience, and dedication to building inclusive learning environments. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys fishing, crabbing, spending time at the beach, and gathering with her big San Diego family—where she is the proud oldest of eight siblings.
