I was born and raised in San Diego and have been in the Chula Vista area for most of my life. I attended UC, San Diego for my undergraduate career where I earned my degree in Ethnic Studies. After my time at UC, San Diego, I was hired as an Academic Coach at High Tech Middle Mesa where I worked hard to support students with learning differences as the COVID-19 pandemic slowly eased up. After a few years, I joined the High Tech High Graduate School of Education where I earned my teaching credential as well as my Masters in Education. I am currently teaching 6th grade Humanities at High Tech Middle Chula Vista and I am excited to dive into some awesome projects with this community! In my free time, I love to watch and play sports (Go Padres! Go Lakers! Go SD Wave!), listen to and create music, and go camping. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello!
