I was born and raised in Montrose, CA, just outside of Los Angeles. I played softball at Santa Clara University for one year, then transferred to the University of Arizona. I graduated with a B.A. in psychology. After college I worked for a few years in the social work field as a crisis manager at a foster care home for Los Angeles youth.
I then returned to school to pursue a career in education! I have spent the last 6 years teaching middle school and love every minute of it. Middle school students bring so much joy, energy and quirkiness to my life, and I’m so excited to be continuing my career at High Tech High!
I love all things nature – camping, hiking, fishing. My family recently moved to the San Diego area, so we’re excited to start exploring!
