David Peña is a multidisciplinary artist, cultural organizer, and arts educator from the border region between Tijuana and San Diego. He received his BA in Art at California State University Long Beach and MFA from the University of Oregon. He co-founded Tijuana Zine Fest, a large-scale zine festival which celebrates self-publishing and independent art.

David has a passion for art making ranging from zines, drawing, printmaking, painting, ceramics and sculpture to digital mediums including digital drawing, Photoshop, Illustrator, audio and video production.
