Originally from the Bay Area (San Mateo, to be exact), I moved to San Diego after graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I’ve been in the classroom ever since, most recently as an Innovation teacher, where I integrated technology, design thinking, and hands-on projects to inspire creativity and problem-solving in students. I’m thrilled to be starting my first year at HTeNC and look forward to creating engaging, inclusive learning environments that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning.
Outside the classroom, I stay active with hot yoga, enjoy live music, and love spending time outdoors. I’m a proud Golden State Warriors fan, a lifelong art enthusiast, and will always stop to pet a dog. Whether it’s designing a hands-on lesson, organizing a space for optimal learning, or thinking outside the box to solve a problem, I’m happiest when I’m blending creativity with purpose. Go Raptors!
