I am so happy to be back in San Diego, California, my hometown. I spent a number of years on the East Coast where I met my wonderful husband and we began raising an amazing son. Since we moved back this past year it’s been a blast introducing them to the Southern California lifestyle. I received my bachelors in history and master in education from Rutgers University but this was not my first path in life. Prior to teaching I was in marketing but it never felt to be the right fit. The saying goes: “it’s never too late to…” and this has been especially true for me.
I love finding the beauty and joy in life. We try to travel as much as possible and have done a number of cross country road trips. We might have a destination in mind but no plan on how to get there, a flip of a coin made the decision on which directions to go. These trips bring us to parts of the US most people overlook and we have found a number of hidden treasures.
I am excited to start my first year at HTHNC and I know this will be my home for a long time.
