Mr. Lopez has been a proud and dedicated member of the HTH community since 2019 who firmly believes that our school is more than just a place of learning—it is a launchpad for students to soar. This marks his fifth year as our Dean of Students, a role to which he brings an unwavering commitment to serving every child with compassion and vision. He sees his work not as a job, but as a calling, driven by the conviction that our school is uniquely designed to provide every student with the tools they need to grow, not only as brilliant academics but as empathetic, resilient, and socially-minded individuals. His passion for fostering this well-rounded development is at the heart of everything he does.
Mr. Lopez earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University and has been in the field of education since 2007. He believes that all children have the potential to learn, and that students acquire a better understanding of the world when immersed in an environment that fosters respect, values creativity, and celebrates diversity. Pedro believes that modeling kindness and empathy promotes acceptance and inspires others to help in developing a culturally rich, safe space for learning. He is committed to providing a caring, collaborative setting that promotes critical thinking, encourages students to learn from different perspectives, and inspires students’ interest in learning through technology and creativity.
