THE CO-TEACHING IMPROVEMENT GROUP has identified three (scalable) adjustments to practice to address the problem statement, disparities in co-teaching diminish academic success for all students.  The consequence of these disparities is the creation of inequitable learning outcomes for students, an issue at the heart of progressive education and closing the achievement gap.  To address such problems, our group has endeavored to create effective structures to improve working co-teaching models. We outline these structures and adjustments to practice in manageable descriptions below, and illustrate outcomes of these changes by looking directly at student outcomes stemming from our changes in practice.
