Purposeful Lesson Sequencing is designing and organizing your lessons in a way that optimizes the students’ abilities to internalize the learning. By crafting learning experiences with momentum, order and flow, the essential learning objective is consistently reinforced and enhances a student’s ability to make connections in between lessons. Additionally, lesson sequencing encourages the teacher to look ahead, which facilitates scaffolding as each task will be designed to evolve and grow with students’ academic needs.
