Hello everyone! My name is Jenny and I was born and raised in sunny San Diego. I attended San Diego State University for my Bachelors Degree, Multiple Subject Credential Program, and Elementary Education Masters Degree. I attended the High Tech High Induction and am considering getting a Masters in Social Emotional Learning. I became a part of the HTe family as a Kindergarten Academic Coach in the 19/20 school year. After that, I taught 4th grade for two years and am excited to enter my third year of teaching 5th grade! I am super passionate about continuous social emotional learning, having a strong classroom community, and teaching students to be responsible and organized.

In my free time I love to attend concerts, watch movies with my two cats, Khaleesi and Benjie, and do anything outside near the water. I also love to travel! I really enjoyed volunteering in Uganda and Zambia and I hope to volunteer in Egypt in the future. I recently traveled to Japan and hope to travel to Thailand in the near future. If I could complete one bucket list item it would be to visit all of the Disney Parks. I have currently been to 4/6!
