Hey all! I was born and raised in Lake Elsinore, California where I grew up playing sports and having blurry vision from swimming all day during the summers. After a life-changing trip to Oregon when I was 10, I decided I wanted to live in the Pacific Northwest. Once I was accepted to Cal Poly Humboldt I made the trip sight unseen. I received a Bachelors degree in Secondary Social Science Education and enjoyed searching the forest, playing music, and eating fresh produce from the farmers market. After graduation I made the move back home to start my own woodworking business and travel when I had the chance. It has always been my philosophy that students need to be exposed to different ideas and cultures and I have tried my best to collect experiences to share with students. Since taking over Elyce’s humanities, I have been delighted to get to know my students and provide a seamless transition to their sophomore year. When I am not at school I am playing tennis, basketball, out at a new restaurant with my fiancee, or spending time at the beach.
