I was born in Brawley, California, and moved to San Diego when I was 6 years old, which has made me a proud local San Diego native.
I attended San Diego Miramar, Mesa, and City Colleges, where I earned my associate’s degree before transferring to California State University San Marcos. There, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in psychology.
After graduation, I pursued and obtained my teaching credential and a master’s degree in education for English Language Learners through National University.
In my free time, you can find me surfing, Olympic lifting, playing ultimate frisbee, beach volleyball, and hiking. I love spending quality time with my loved ones and admiring the beauty of the ocean.
