My name is Bailey Wallace, and I am so excited to be a teacher at HTe! I grew up in a rural town in Missouri and now reside in San Diego with my one-eyed cats, George and Toby. I earned my Associate of Arts in Teaching in 2018, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education in 2020. In May 2024, I completed my Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction. I believe in continuous growth and development as an educator. My philosophy of education is rooted in the belief that all children are unique and deserve a stimulating, inclusive learning environment. As a teacher, I aim to create a safe and supportive space where students can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
Beyond the classroom, I am passionate about making a difference in the world through education. In 2014, I traveled on a mission trip to Borel, Haiti, an experience that opened my eyes to the transformative power of education and further fueled my dedication to meaningful learning experiences for students. In my free time, I love being outdoors and enjoy swimming competitively, though I also appreciate cozy nights in watching movies.
