I grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where my love for teaching began at an early age. My mom was a teacher, and seeing the impact she had on her students inspired me to follow in her footsteps. I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from Brooklyn College and began my career teaching three- and four-year-olds at the Brooklyn College Early Childhood Center before making my way to sunny San Diego.

After teaching in early childhood education in San Diego, I joined the High Tech Elementary family, where I spent seven wonderful years teaching third grade. When HTe began planning its Transitional Kindergarten program, I was excited to join the planning team and later pilot the school’s very first TK classroom. Returning to early childhood has truly felt like coming home!
My classroom is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and project-based learning, where curiosity, creativity, play, and meaningful experiences guide our days. I believe every child is capable, and I love creating a classroom where children feel safe, celebrated, and excited to learn alongside their classmates.

When I’m not in the classroom, you can usually find me cheering on my favorite New York sports teams, traveling to a new destination, singing along at a concert, or spending time with family and friends.
