I am a San Diego native who graduated from UCSD in 2005. I spent 11 years working for the City of Encinitas as a beach lifeguard and teaching Jr. Lifeguards for the City of Del Mar. I love sharing my passion for life and learning. I never thought I would leave San Diego but I spent 6 years in Arizona earning a Masters of Education at ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College and teaching 8th grade Science. I also spent a year teaching on the Hualapai Reservation in Peach Springs. I am so excited to be teaching 11th grade Biology for High Tech High and for my own kids to experience Project Based Learning.
