Hello everyone! I was born and raised in Connecticut, where I earned an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, a B.A. in English, and a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!). After graduating—and one too many nor’easters—I spontaneously packed up and drove across the country to my new home: sunny San Diego.

I am proud to be a founding third grade teacher at High Tech Elementary, where I’ve taught both third and fifth grade since HTe opened in 2015. Over the past decade as a teacher and instructional coach, I’ve developed a deep belief in the power of strong school communities and shared leadership. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside dedicated educators, students, and families to create spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and challenged to grow. My work has always centered around building trust, fostering collaboration, and helping both students and teachers thrive.

Now, I’m excited to begin a new chapter as the Interim Director of High Tech Middle. It’s an honor to continue this journey with so many students and families I’ve taught and supported over the years. I’m looking forward to growing and learning together in this new role!
