Annelise Blair is a passionate and dedicated Humanities teacher who nurtures the holistic growth of her students. In her classroom, she designs projects around identity work, literacy, and connections between history and current events. She fosters curiosity through student-led exploration, ensuring learners see themselves as active participants in shaping their world.
A San Diego native and graduate of High Tech High International, Ms. Blair earned her degree in political science from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN before diving into the public policy world of Washington, D.C. She returned to High Tech in 2022, student teaching at High Tech High Mesa, completing her M.A. Ed. at the HTH Graduate School of Education, and then launching her own classroom at High Tech Middle. Outside of school, she enjoys getting outside, hosting dinner parties, and adventuring with her husband, daughter, and pup.
