Hello! I grew up primarily in Murrieta, California, and came down to San Diego in 2017 for my Bachelor’s in Human Development Sciences and minor in Biology at UC San Diego. During my coursework and internship with a preschool, I found that I absolutely loved working with kids. Years after graduating from UCSD, I connected with a friend (and current HTH Chemistry teacher) who showed me his classroom and told me about HTH’s San Diego Teaching Residency (SDTR). Please feel free to check out my digital portfolio to see some of the core beliefs that I’ve developed about education so far!
Having completed my 1st year at the SDTR as a student teacher resident (under Mr. Kevin, HTMMA and Kalle, HTH) and earning my Single Subject Life Science teaching credential, I am now working on my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and continuing to serve the HTMMA family as a Long Term Substitute Teacher. When I’m not at school, I spend my time weight-lifting, running, singing, playing guitar, journaling, and reading by bodies of water or at parks.
