Ms.Roland has been an educator since 2019, bringing a passion for hands-on, inclusive learning to the 8th-grade Humanities classroom. She holds a B.A. in Business from the University of San Diego (USD), an M.A. in Teaching from Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU), and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from High Tech High Graduate School of Education. Ms. Roland holds credentials in Multiple Subject Teaching, Special Education, and CTE Business.

Specializing in project-based learning, she connects academic content to real-world experiences. Her favorite project initiatives include building a functioning chicken coop with 2nd graders, partnering with a water sommelier for an 8th-grade environmental water study, and leading middle schoolers on a cultural exchange trip to Japan.
