I originally hail from Glandorf, Ohio, but I’ve been proud to call San Diego home for several years now. I’m currently earning my Master’s in Education and dual teaching credentials in Multiple Subject and Education Specialist (Mild to Moderate) at the University of San Diego. I’ve worked with students from TK through high school—supporting little ones with emotional regulation and school readiness, and helping teens tackle academic challenges like AP Calculus. I care deeply about building strong relationships, honoring neurodiversity, and making sure every student feels seen, valued, and capable.
Before shifting to education, I immersed myself in the world of theater—drawn to the power of storytelling, expression, and building community. That creative background still influences my teaching today, whether I’m leading a lesson, coaching a student through a tough moment, or finding new ways to keep learning engaging and meaningful. Outside the classroom, you’ll find me cheering from the sidelines at soccer or gymnastics, training for my next race, or deep in a creative project—crocheting, designing graphics, or building something with power tools and an overconfident attitude. I’m a voracious reader who’s always learning, whether it’s diving into Pokémon lore for my aspiring trainer, rereading all seven Harry Potter books with my hopeful future Minister of Magic, or researching new ways to support my students and my own kids. For me, learning has always felt like magic—and I try to bring that same wonder into everything I do.
