The path that led me to education came in a very roundabout way. As a young girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher but decided to take a completely different route. I graduated with my BSEE in Computer Engineering from San Diego State University. For seven years, I programmed hardware and managed our international technical support team. After starting our family and a small business, I finally decided that I wanted to pursue what I knew was always in my heart — educating children.

My educational journey started when I had the honor & privilege to become part of Chula Vista’s staff a few weeks after the school opened in 2011. I completed the HTH Credentialing Program and obtained my Masters of Arts in Teacher Leadership. Throughout the years, I’ve supported students in our community and continue to love our Pueblo.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family of five & 3 dogs, binge watching with my girls, gardening, and traveling. I am extremely excited to continue to be part of the HTeCV as well as our greater K-12 Pueblo as your School Director for the 2026-2027 school year!
