Alex is a San Diego native who spent more than a decade working in project-based high schools in New York City after earning a degree in Secondary Inclusive Education from Columbia University. His educational philosophy is rooted in disrupting traditional constructs of “dis”ability by expanding access and celebrating the diverse ways in which students learn.
