Lexi grew up in Temecula and earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Global Studies from UCLA. After working as a substitute teacher in the Temecula school district, she moved to San Diego to pursue her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of San Diego. Lexi went on to earn her Special Education credential and Reading Specialist authorization, further deepening her commitment to supporting diverse learners.
Lexi is passionate about developing strong readers and analytical thinkers who are also global citizens, literate, informed, and equipped to engage thoughtfully with the world.
Outside the classroom, she teaches yoga, hikes with her dog, and loves listening to audiobooks. She is also deeply engaged in community service, having served as an advocate for both LGBTQ+ youth and foster children.
