Josh began teaching 12th grade environmental science at High Tech High North County then moved to teaching 7th grade Math and Science at High Tech Middle and is now excited to take on 10th grade math at High Tech High Mesa. Josh loves to hear how students “see” their solutions to math problems and to observe students working collaboratively. Josh came to teaching from the world of ecology which he studied at Florida State University and San Diego State University. Having grown up in a beach town in Florida and moving to San Diego, Josh has a deep love and appreciation for the ocean. In his down time Josh enjoys surfing, rock climbing, playing guitar and banjo, camping, hiking, fly fishing, and making good food for his family.
