Hi there!

This is my 9th year as an educator and my second year teaching HTHNC 12th grade Art. I’m super excited for it. 🙂

I was born and raised in San Diego. I went to Grossmont Community College where I earned my AA, then I moved to Northern California for my Bachelor’s. I went to Humboldt State University (now a CalPoly school!) and earned my BA with a double major in Studio Art and Art Education, with a minor in English.

My tiny family is incredibly important to me. My husband Garrett and I have been together for 14 years, our daughter Kyra just turned 2 in the summer, we have a tuxedo kitty named Fluffy Scoops, and we love spending time all together. I also love making art (especially paintings), reading, playing games (video, board, card, and phone), napping, singing, and going to the beach.

The eARTh without art is just eh. I am quite open heARTed.
