Hi everyone! I’m a San Diego native and a proud graduate of California State University San Marcos, where I earned my degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science. I also completed my teaching credential at San Diego State University. During my studies, I had the opportunity to work on computer science projects, including spatial localization applications with UC Santa Cruz, which sparked my interest in connecting math to real-world problem solving.
I’m incredibly excited and honored to begin my teaching journey at High Tech High in San Marcos as a math teacher. My goal is to create a classroom where you feel supported, challenged, and confident in your abilities. I love finding ways to make math meaningful and engaging, and I’m especially interested in bringing in technology and project-based learning—especially for students who are curious about how math connects to computer science. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and continuing to learn and grow right alongside my students.
