Hello High Tech High families, my name is Jordyn! I am excited to be returning to the North County campus this year to teach English. My passion for education started at a young age, as I would put school supplies on my holiday and birthday wishlists, and subject my younger siblings to act as my students. As I got older, my interests shifted and changed, but teaching was always something I was passionate about. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Cruz, I started at HTHNC as an Academic Coach, where I was able to gain experience in the classroom, and realize just how special teaching is.

When I am not learning or helping others to learn, I like to spend time with my husband, Matt, our two pets, Lyla (poodle mix) and Boosh (tabby cat), travel, make yummy food, be outside, and scrapbook!
