Hi everybody! I was born and raised in beautiful Encinitas California, where I received my high school diploma, then headed up North to California State, University of Chico to get my Bachelors Degree in English Education. Through my time at Chico State I encountered a teacher who made education exciting and inviting, inspiring me to become a teacher, and from then on I never looked back. After I graduated up North I came back down to SoCal and took a year long program at California State University, San Marcos to receive my credential in English. I just recently graduated from Cal State San Marcos in the Spring of 2025 and came aboard the High Tech High team fresh out the gates. I am looking forward to my first year of teaching at such an amazing school! Yet, there’s more to me than just teaching. Outside of school I am usually outdoors (unless I’m thrifting, duh), whether that’s going to the beach, hiking, running, gardening, playing volleyball or even camping. I love to rock climb and do arts and crafts as well. I feel so lucky to be starting this journey and can’t wait to see what this year brings!
