My name is Trevor Barton (Mr. B to the kiddos) and I am originally from the Central Valley of California where I graduated high school. I then went to college at University of California, Santa Barbara where I studied English literature and philosophy. After college, I moved to Barcelona, Spain to pursue my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certification and then proceeded to stay there and teach English to children and adults for 3 years. After this I got a job opportunity in Shanghai, China to teach English to kindergarteners and eventually adults after school for almost 2 years. After China, I moved to San Diego and continued teaching English at an academy downtown for about 5 years. I then went back to school at Point Loma Nazarene to get my multiple subject teaching credential and I graduated from there in May 2022.
I worked 2022-2023 at HTeX as a long-term substitute and on-site substitute and then moved to third grade for the 2023-2024 school year, where I will be for the 2024-2025 school year as well!
