My life began in Mission Viejo, CA but moved to Anaheim where I spent my youth. I then migrated to San Diego to major in film at San Diego State. In school I was involved with many film productions and group projects. In 2007, I graduated with a bachelors degree in Television, Film and New Media. From there I was hired at High Tech High as the video ethnographer where I captured and created videos about project based learning. I then transitioned to becoming a teacher and spent ten years at High Tech Middle North County teaching digital arts. While not at school I can be found bodysurfing, grilling, watching soccer and hanging out with my wife Megan & daughter Josie. I am excited to join the amazing community at Explorer.
