Hello! My name is Charlize and I was born and raised here in San Diego! I studied at San Diego State University where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Child and Family Development. Before joining the High Tech family, I worked for the YMCA of San Diego as a Youth Development Teacher for the Before and After School Program. I’ve also gotten amazing opportunities throughout my years of studies to work with different groups of kiddos. I did many volunteer hours at various elementary schools and also studied abroad in Italy for a summer where I was able to volunteer in a preschool. My future goal is to become an Education Specialist for Mild to Moderate Special Education! My favorite hobbies include spending time with my friends and family, going to the beach, shopping, and trying new coffee shops!
