Hello High Tech Explorer Community,

I was born and raised in San Diego. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from San Diego State University and went on to earn my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I have previously taught fifth grade and kindergarten, and I am overjoyed to be joining the HTH family this year as a second-grade teacher. My teaching philosophy centers on educating the whole child—emotionally, socially, and academically. My favorite part of teaching is building meaningful connections with my students and fostering positive partnerships with parents and families. When I’m not teaching, I love to travel, attend concerts, read, craft, and spend time with my loved ones. I look forward to this next chapter at HTH and all of the wonderful connections and collaboration it will bring!
