My name is Lauryn Silveira, and I am an Education Specialist working with TK through 1st grade at our beautiful school! Before stepping into my current role, I taught in an SDC classroom and worked as a substitute teacher, which gave me a variety of experiences working with students and families. I have also studied Marriage and Family Therapy, which has given me a deeper understanding of social-emotional development, communication, and building positive relationships with students. I have been working in education for five years, and my passion for teaching was inspired by my older sister, who is a 3rd grade teacher and encouraged me to pursue this field. I was born and raised in California, and outside of school I love spending time with my dog, Frankie, going to concerts, hanging out with friends, shopping at Free People, and anything pink!
