I am an educator based in San Diego with a passion for student-centered, project-based learning. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from California State University, Northridge, and completed my teaching credential through the Graduate School of Education.
I currently teach 9th grade Humanities at High Tech High Media Arts, where I design engaging, interdisciplinary learning experiences that encourage students to think critically, collaborate, and connect their learning to real-world issues. My teaching approach centers on inquiry, creativity, and relationship-building, with the goal of creating an inclusive classroom where all students feel supported and challenged.
I am committed to helping students develop strong literacy skills, confidence in their voices, and a sense of curiosity about the world around them. Through meaningful projects and discussions, I strive to empower students to take ownership of their learning and reach their full potential.
