Hi everyone! I’m a student of life and I am passionate about wondering and gathering observations! I’m a San Diego local who left to explore the world after high school. I graduated from LeTourneau University in 2014 with a B.S. Biology, then became interested in where our food comes from. After 2 organic farm jobs I served as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia from 2015-’17. I returned home to pursue my favorite part of being a volunteer – collaborating and sparking curiosity with young adults.
In 2020 I graduated with my M.A. Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education in Dallas, TX. I stayed on and taught 8th grade science for 8 years at Uplift North Hills Preparatory. Summer 2024 I moved back to San Diego to be close to family, and I’m so thankful to be a part of the teaching and learning community here at High Tech High Media Arts!
