I’m excited to begin my first year as an Instructional Coach at HTMCV after eleven years of teaching 6th grade Humanities. During my time in the classroom, I loved guiding students through reading, writing, and exploring the big questions that history and literature raise. In this new role, I look forward to supporting teachers, collaborating on engaging curriculum, and continuing to build meaningful project-based learning experiences for our students.
I’m a proud San Diego native who couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. I earned my B.A. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from San Diego State University and later completed my M.A.Ed. in Curriculum and Instructional Design at the University of San Diego. Outside of school, I love traveling and believe one of the best ways to keep learning is to explore the world firsthand. When I’m home, you can usually find me sewing, crafting, trying out new restaurants, or curled up with a good book.
