FASS Forms
Family and School Support (FASS) Forms
This year, High Tech High is no longer collecting Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL) applications. Instead, we are introducing the Family and School Support (FASS) form, a simpler version of the FRL form.
IMPORTANT: It remains crucial for families to complete this form so that schools and families can receive the maximum benefits from state and federal funds. Breakfast and lunch meals will still be FREE to ALL students regardless of the income status.
Why the Change?
High Tech High has transitioned the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a new federal program which provides free breakfast and lunch to all students without requiring household income applications. As a result, we are no longer collecting FRL applications but are instead using the FASS form.
These forms are essential for securing additional funding through state programs, such as supplemental and concentration LCAP funds. By completing these forms, you help improve our school community’s educational resources and services. Thank you for your cooperation and support. For more information please visit FASS Frequently Asked Questions.
Who Should Complete the Family and School Support (FASS) Form?
All families should complete the FASS form, even if they believe their child may not qualify for benefits. This information helps the school secure additional state resources, vital for enhancing educational programs and services for all students. Your participation can make a significant difference in the school’s resources and opportunities for every student.
How Do I Complete the Form?
You can complete the form online at https://linqconnect.com/public/income-form/new?identifier=QYRZH4 (no login required).
If prompted to provide a school district, please use High Tech High.
If you have any difficulty completing the form, please contact your school’s site manager. You can also watch the tutorial video for guidance, or see step by step picture guide.
Who Will My Data Be Shared With?
We understand that families may have concerns about providing personal information. The information collected on the FASS form is used solely to determine the allocation of additional funding for our schools. All data is kept strictly confidential under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and is not shared with immigration authorities or used to determine immigration status. Our goal is to secure state and federal funds to enhance educational programs and services for all students. There is no risk to your family’s immigration status by completing this form.

Both Top Notch Catering and High Tech Eats are nut-free facilities. We can accommodate most food allergies and intolerances.
If your child has a severe allergy, Top Notch and High Tech Eats can not guarantee any airborne or micro-exposure to allergens. In severe cases, we recommend that your child brings their own food to school.
If your child has an allergy and plans to receive meals from school, please let us know in the meal accommodation form. The Food and Nutrition team will special order your child’s meal for all school days of the school year. If your child does not take their accommodated meal on any given day, it will be thrown out for the day. Due to the high volume of students, we cannot accommodate special food ordering schedules.
Please send your meal accommodation form and if your child plans on receiving food from TopNotch Catering to lunch@hightechhigh.org
