Hello, I’m a San Diego native that loves to spend time in the terrain this region has to offer. I received my bachelor’s degree in biology from SDSU whereafter I participated in microbial ecology research. After some time I transitioned into a more field oriented position at Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve in Fallbrook. Inevitably I began exploring a career in teaching in which I soon learned that an interest I already had since high school was indeed a pathway I loved. In spring of 2025 I received my masters of arts in teaching from SDSU. I am excited to be a part of the Mesa team as the 11th grade biology teacher and feel that project based learning is essential to a deeper learning and exploration of life. All day every day, let’s SCIENCE!
