My name is Andrew Gloag and I was born in a small mining village in the North East of England. I earned his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Oxford and a Ph.D. in Fiber Optics from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. I have worked in Aerospace Engineering and manufacturing, and I have been teaching since I moved to San Diego in 1999.
I have three children, all educated in the HTH family of schools, and when I’m not in the classroom I enjoy running, hiking, and being close to the beach. I am an avid watcher of the Eurovision Song Contest, British movies, and 1980s British TV comedies.
