Hi everyone! My name is Claire Hernandez. I am beyond excited to get started working here at the High Tech Community as a Third Grade Teacher! I was born and raised in Northern California, (in Santa Rosa), and I moved to San Marcos in 2021. In 2024 I graduated from Cal State San Marcos with a Bachelors in Liberal Studies with a focus in Child Development. I played on the Women’s Soccer team at CSUSM and still spend most of my free time outside playing soccer with friends. I also love to read, to create, do yoga, and to laugh! A lot!

After graduating, I was a Substitute Teacher and was fortunate enough to connect with HTeNC and all the wonders they have to offer. I am extremely passionate about my career in education, and know the power of cultivating a nurturing, empowering and fun environment for every child. I cannot wait to grow with you all!
