I’m Conner and this is my second year teaching ninth grade physics at High Tech High Mesa. Before coming to HTHM I worked at the University of San Diego in the Departments of Physics & Biophysics and Chemistry & Biochemistry as a laboratory technician for six years, where I mostly worked in labs fixing and running lab instruments and equipment–just keeping labs running in general. I got my B.S. in physics from UCSB–that’s the place where I first fell in love with both physics and teaching. I think science in general is rad and important, too, and I’m on a mission to help you ask and answer questions that will help you become an effective changemaker in your community, as well as possibly more curious about and in-tune with the universe! Outside the classroom I like to push the boundaries of my knowledge in and outside the field of physics with podcasts, books, and conversations. I also love to get outside and into nature to run/climb/swim/hike/bike around. :]
