Hello everyone! I was born and raised in San Diego County, but I travelled to Santa Barbara in order to earn a bachelor’s degree in Physics from UCSB, climbed to the shoulders of many giants, and discovered my passion for teaching and learning. After graduating, I worked as a lab tech at USD before moving to HTHM to teach physics in 2021. My next move was to the Chula Vista Pueblo to teach 8th grade math and science; teaching, living and learning in the same community has been immensely rewarding. In my free time, I love to change diapers, study for my master’s classes, sing in the shower, dance like no one’s watching, climb, run (slowly), (body)surf, cycle, play yoga, practice board games, look at photos, hot-drop doom’s castle, endure the great outdoors, and of course, contemplate the great mysteries of the universe.
